Buyouts are all taken the current year, so the buyout would be $18 this year
Another way to look at it, you have 9 invested this year, so it's an extra $9 for the buyout.

You do not have the funds currently to buy him out. (You have $6, you are $3 short...after you factor the $9 already in his contract)
