When do we return? When is the Draft? When does Free Agency begin?

A prospect must be promoted the season after they accumulate 130 at bats or 50 innings pitched. They can remain on your protected roster during the season in which they reach these limits, but must be called up/signed to a contract the following offseason. All called up prospects will play on a $2 - R Contract (rookie contract) during the year they are called up. Post all call ups/signings in your teams Roster Moves thread.

Post all of your teams free agent re-signings here including new salary and years (eg. Mike Zunino $1.5/2) in the appropriate team thread. Any players not re-signed by 12am EST on the 15th of February 2024 enter the free agency pool.

Post all free agent drops (out of contract players who you won't be resigning), prospect call ups and any player suspension drops here.

If you have a player who receives a suspension during the season you may drop him from your Yahoo roster while retaining his rights until he returns. You will still be liable for their full salary during the duration of the suspension but you can free up a roster spot to use until he return.

Announce contract buyouts here. You will be responsible for 1/2 of the remaining amount owed on the entire contract. Post buyout details on your team thread.

Each player placed on waivers will receive his own thread. Immediately drop the player from your roster. Post 'claim' if you would like to claim the player. After 48 hours the lowest ranked team will win the player. If no one claims player after 48 hours post player buyout Post on the Buyout board

Free agency begins at 9am EST on the 15th of March 2024.
Bids must be made in increments of $0.50 and must stand for 24 hours.
Create 1 thread for each player.
Contract lengths must be posted with every bid (i.e. $2/3yrs. = $6 total contract bid. The highest total dollar amount wins the bid.
