I am putting a hold on this trade pending a review . It’s clear why the Astros dealt Evan White. It’s not clear why the Twins traded for him and gave up prospect Shane McClanahan SP. The league needs the Twins point of view for making this trade. Thanks.

My thought to everybody reading this is as follows:
As can be seen in my trade block, I am desperately looking for starting pitching. Astros would not trade me Odorizzi. He was going to trade me White and pay for him and I am ok with that. I "gave" him a gift with McClanahan. I should him "grace" which is defined as unmerited favor from one individual to another. Unheard of in these times we are living in. This league is not the end all to be all. It's non-profit. It's a distraction to my other problems (not having a job in the last 18 months and 100+ temperature expected this weekend in Washington state among others.)

As far as DeGrom,
If you were to look as to what was offered for DeGrom (unlike the MLB who would have offered the "moon in prospect/players"), I got "junk". So I took the "best" offer available. Until you can walk in another man/teams' shoes, there is one finger at me and the other 3 are pointing back to you. I am doing the best I can. So should you'all.

I probably shouldn't have brought deGrom into this Paul - sorry about that. I was just frustrated that our commissioner would call out our deal after what many perceived as a lopsided trade for deGrom.

If there is any manager who has issues with any trade, I do my best to ask others for their opinion. In this case, I had a problem with the trade. Will forward those opinions to you and the Twins. The deGrom trade had no one objecting or raising concerns or I would have sought out other opinions.
Trades are subjective. Each of us run our teams differently. However, lopsided trades can cause league problems. I do my best to be fair, that’s all. In this case I missed the mark. I did learn one thing however, that Dynasty rankings which I have never used has been used to justify this trade as being fair. I will use the Fantrax rankings as a tool in the future when evaluating trade inquires.
The trade has been determined as fair and can move forward.
However, the Twins currently has cap space of $1. Evan White is $4. Even with the Astros adding $2 cap to the deal, still leaves the Twins with a -$1 after the trade. The trade still needs to be reworked for this reason. Thanks guys.

He had enough money yesterday, but I guess the Abraham Toro signing put it over. I'll talk to Paul and arrange to include more cash. We will start a new thread with the new deal.
Apologies for bringing up the deGrom deal. If I had a problem with it (and I really don't - I was just reacting to some of my own anger), I should have said something sooner.

Apologies for adding 2 cents where it isn't asked for... -If any team has any issues with a trade, feel free to e-mail one/some/all of the admin. -Most of the players in this league are new to Dynasty format, and from an outsiders perspective, I can see why Rook questioned it. I would rather have someone ask, than to be frustrated and quit the league. -Dynasty leagues are a lot of time and effort by every player. It takes a lot more effort to get a new player to the league. I'd rather tolerate (insert manager here) than to look for a new one  Long story short: Trade is good; Ask if Questions; Enjoy. |

My mistake for first questioning the trade and then inserting my opinion. I should have first turned my objections over to Rodger or Kyle who are trusted Administrators and let them run with it. I’ll do better.
