The current rule: Two-Way Players: Yahoo treats 2-way players as two separate players. In our league all 2-way players will be owned by the same team (both positions). The two-way player will have one salary/contract and occupy 1 of 26 roster spots. Since Yahoo treats the two-way player as two roster spots, one roster spot must always be in dropped status. The manager will add/drop the two-way player at will throughout the season. Do not post these adds and drops on Proboards.
Proposed rule: Yahoo treats 2-way players as two separate players. In our league all 2-way players will be owned by the same team (both positions). The two-way player will have one salary/contract and occupy 1 or 2 of your 26 roster spots. Owners of these player have two options. 1) One roster spot reserved for both positions with 25 other rostered players. In this case only one version of the two way player will be on the roster at any given time. Drop/add the other version as needed. No posting of this type of move is needed. 2) Two roster spots are used for the two way player. This means only 24 other players can be rostered.
In addition, Teams have the ability to use both options in a given year. In summary no longer can a player be temporarily dropped to allow both versions of your two way player to be rostered at a given time.

Seems tesonable to me as long as Yahoo maintains its current rule.
