Elfin was dropped but still owned to allow Ohtani to hit and pitch in the same game. Ohtani counts as one roster spot and one salary. It’s causing confusion who is a free agent and who is still owned but in drop status.

From the rules:
Two-Way Players:
Yahoo treats 2-way players as two separate players. In our league all 2-way players will be owned by the same team (both positions). The two-way player will have one salary/contract and occupy 1 of 26 roster spots. Since Yahoo treats the two-way player as two roster spots, one roster spot must always be in dropped status. The manager will add/drop the two-way player at will throughout the season. Do not post these adds and drops on Proboards.
