$4.5/3 Free buyout request. Unfortunately, it has not yet been deemed important enough by the American media to report the signing of Villar by Algodoneros del Unión Laguna. However, I do have a trusted Spanish language source that can be translated to English to confirm that my ill-advised signing can be scrubbed from my roster. Until it's confirmed in the states, I'd say no. I would think someone would report on it when it becomes/became official.

Yangervis Solarte signed with the same team last year, and I can't see it reported in the US. I don't think that is a reasonable expectation for this player and this league.

Roberto Osuna (at least his most recent signing) and Fernando Rodney were signed by the Diablos in the Mexican league without reports coming from any American outlets. Both higher profile than Villar and still nothing. I don't think the league has a high enough profile to get the attention in the States.
