didn't know where else to put this so i put it here this will prob be my last action here because rook will certainly kick me out for doing this.
The other day Rook sent out a global message stating the things that needed to be changed to make the roster ready for march 10th
in it the stated note was that the cubs were 1 over the limit.
At that time I had been in contact about a deal to dump kim to the white sox after his move to the kbo in it i was going to receive cash in return for kim another contract and prospects.
Upon receiving the message from Rook and before posting the agreed upon trade I reached out to Rodger to add jackie bradley jr instead of the cash since doing so would put me at 26 on the nose.
After doing so and after having the trade reviewed Rook reached out and told me I was still at 27.
At which point I asked for clarity on how that happened as there had been several spreadsheet and missing player issues since i've joined I just wanted to make sure I was in fact at 28 and not 27 at the time of the trade and whether it was a math error a typo or a spreadsheet issue and to find out who the player was and to find out when that player was acquired so i could confirm that there wasnt a move made either by trade buyout or drop on the player that was missed. Once doing so I could speak to Rodger about either giving him that contract or going to our originally agreed upon deal which contained no player coming back both which would have put me back at 26 where i needed to be
Rook responded by ignoring the questions and telling me to drop a player while getting increasingly belligerent regarding the matter and the whole situation turned into a shouting blame game
This outcome has lasting ramifications for free agency as it significantly alters the available cap for both parties involved in the cubs-white sox trade
He also blocked resolution via Rodger which I feel is outside of his right as commish
Rodger has agreed to revised terms for a trade and I wanted to bring this to the league to hopefully resolve in a way that doesnt involve me getting kicked out for trying to make things clear concise and just
