Chicago Cubs failed to add player within 72 hours. Per rules, he loses player, must use a forced buyout and is charged $1 penalty.
Player then goes to the next highest bidder who is the Dodgers if he still wants the player.
Dodgers have elected to take Barlow with his bid of $1/4
Forced buyout and penalty on the Cubs has been waived. Fairly new manager who perhaps didn’t fully understand our rules. Also, I couldn’t manually add the player to his team on time since there wasn’t a roster spot available. I tend to help newer managers with this rule if I notice a problem developing.
